This scholarship is being given in memory of Jacob R. Perry (Jake), who was a former student at Saratoga Elementary School and Morris High School. Jake was an incredible athlete at both schools. Jake loved music and taught himself how to play the guitar and the piano. He developed a significant mental illness in his early 20’s and worked extremely hard with mental health professionals to overcome the impacts of his illness. Jake lost his life in a tragic accident on March 14, 2019 at the age of 27. His family and friends wish to keep his memory alive with this scholarship.
