Education Major Scholarship in memory of Char & Mike Farrell
In honor of Char & Mike Farrell, the Community Foundation of Grundy County is offering one (1) academic scholarship totaling $10,000 to one Grundy County resident entering junior or senior year of an accredited teacher prep program at any university/college in the U.S. Each scholarship recipient will be required to "give back" to Grundy County in a manner that is acceptable to both the student and CFGC. This will be on a case-by-case basis and determined during the application and interview phase. Applications are due no later than May 1, 2024. Applicants will be notified no later than June 30, 2024. Scholarship check will be mailed to the college financial aid office in early/mid August.
