November Philanthropy Essay Contest - 3-5 grades
Grundy students in grades 3-5 are invited to submit an essay for the contest to celebrate National Philanthropy Month. Essays should be around 100 words and the theme of the essay is "Things I like to do to be helpful to others." Essays are due no later than Friday, November 14, 2025. First place essay writer will be able to name a Grundy charity to receive a grant of $1,000. Second place essay writer will be able to name a Grundy charity to receive a grant of $500. Third place essay writer will be able to name a Grundy charity to receive a grant of $250. First, second, and third place writers will receive a $50 gift card. An event will be held in late November where wining essay writers can present their grant to their chosen charity.
