Mike Perry and Kathy Perry, parents of Jacob, have created this scholarship in memory of their music-loving son. Jake graduated Saratoga Elementary School and Morris High School – excelling at sports at both schools. Jake loved music and taught himself how to play the guitar and the piano. He developed a significant mental illness in his early 20’s and worked extremely hard with mental health professionals to overcome the impacts of his illness. Jake lost his life in a tragic accident on March 14, 2019 at the age of 27. His family and friends wish to keep his memory alive with this scholarship.
